Data Architect
Ian Dalton has a degree in psychology from UCF, and started his career in neuroscience and behavioral economics research while pursuing graduate coursework in statistics and cognitive science, before declining to pursue further academics. Ian entered the legal industry in 2019 when joining Simpluris' class action settlement administration business, wherein he applied his skills to data ingestion, restructuring, and validation, building python tools for standard operations, as well as graph network analysis tools for entity resolution.
Joining Datavative in 2022, Ian now consults on data architecture and engineering solutions for legal clients, building out business intelligence and reporting analytics.
In his free time, Ian enjoys reading, biking, board games, hiking, and whitewater sports, as well as exploring and writing on public policy data in the wild, especially relating to municipal finance and transportation.
